Pastor Corey D. Johnson was born to Susie Ann Johnson. He graduated from Groves High School in Savannah, GA in 1988. Upon completion, Pastor Johnson served two years in the US Army II Bravo Infantry. After his military service ended, he lived on the Hawaiian islands for four years. The enemy awaited Pastor Johnson in Hawaii as he fell into a drug-addicted lifestyle of crystal meth, crack cocaine, ash, marijuana, cigarettes, and alcohol. God led him to return to Atlanta, GA in 1993 where he met his “Angel”, Tania Phillips three years later. The two were married in 1999. Together, they have seven children.
After being invited to a UCOGIC convention in 1997, he was saved and filled with the Holy Ghost. Pastor Johnson served as the Youth Minister for five years under the guidance and leadership of Bishop Aaron B. Lackey, Sr. at the Temple of Prayer UCOGIC. He was ordained as an Elder in the United Churches of God in Christ in March of 2003. He currently serves as Chief Adjutant for the Georgia Northeast/Alabama 1st Jurisdiction and Assistant Chief Adjutant, United Churches of God in Christ. The Hands of Faith Deliverance Center UCOGIC was birthed out of Pastor Johnson's vision to save those that are lost in sin. Hands of Faith was established on December 3, 2006. Our mission is to save, love, deliver, and live by faith. You are invited to come and experience the powerful ministry of Pastor Corey D. Johnson
